Boss Construction is a family based business. It has grown out of RM Boss Construction which was started by Richard (Dick) Boss when he came to Victoria in 1974. Dick’s son, Tim, worked with him for over 10 years before officially forming his own Boss Construction in 1996.

Bio:	Tim has over 25 years experience in the construction industry. Although he specializes in carpentry, he has a thorough understanding of all sub-trades. Tim also has an Engineering Technology background with experience in design. This combination of skills allows him to design additions and houses that incorporate the owners’ needs while maintaining a practical, buildable form. He prefers hands-on management and is on-site as much as possible. Tim has an eye for quality and is committed to excellence.

Bio:	Michelle has been consulting on projects with Boss Construction since 1993. Along with running the office, she also does product research and pricing. She is an excellent customer liaison; sharing her knowledge of flooring, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and kitchen features with clients to ensure they enjoy the best finished product for their budget.

All employees are specifically chosen for their excellent work ethics and positive attitudes. While Boss Construction also draws from many reliable sub-contractors when necessary, full time employees include the following skilled workers:

Name:	James Bamford
Title:	Journeyman
Bio:	Jim has 45 years experience, specializing in finish carpentry and cabinetmaking. He has a wealth of skill and knowledge which he is happy to pass on to the apprentices.

Name:	Nathan Boss
Title:	Apprentice
Bio:	Nathan started learning his trade as a kid tagging along to his father and grandfather. As a teenager, he worked through several spring breaks and summers. He has been working full time with Boss Construction since he finished high school. His specialty is finish carpentry.

Name:	Brett Bisbee
Title:	Apprentice
Bio:	Brett comes to Boss Construction from Halfmoon Bay on the Sunshine Coast. He is a very hard-working, fast learning young man and is currently enrolled in the BC Apprenticeship Program.
